Portfolio Management - Associate
Deutsche Bank is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate with banking experience to join their team. The role supports the accurate reporting, analysis, and control of financial and performance metrics, assisting in the development and maintenance of reporting frameworks and providing actionable insights to senior management. Responsibilities Support the preparation, validation, and analysis of performance metrics, management reports, and dashboards used for financial and business decision-making Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly reporting processes, including data reconciliation, variance analysis, and investigation of data anomalies Partner with cross-functional teams to: Define and refine Key Performance Indicators/Key Risk Indicators Understand data sources and business logic Ensure alignment with reporting standards and business objectives Develop and enhance automated reporting solutions using tools such as Excel, Tableau, and other Power BI platforms Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements Provide actionable insights to senior management through clear and concise reporting Support ad-hoc analysis, issue remediation, and special projects as needed Document assumptions, methodologies, and control procedures to support transparency and auditability Skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field Proficient experience in banking or financial services, with exposure to analytics or reporting Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, basic macros, formulas) and Tableau (dashboard creation, data visualization) Familiarity with Structured Query Language or data querying tools is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data in a clear, actionable manner Experience with other Business Intelligence (BI) tools (Power BI, Qlik) Awareness of regulatory reporting requirements in banking Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Demonstrated interest in developing a career within Finance or Product Control Benefits Competitive compensation packages including health and wellbeing benefits Retirement savings plans Parental leave Family building benefits Educational resources Matching gift Volunteer programs Company Overview Deutsche Bank is an investment bank that offers financial products and services to corporate and institutional clients.
