You can learn more about our company culture and impact in our latest annual report.Summary:This individual will work closely with all staff members, including those in operations, client service and portfolio management, to assist in the day-to-day management of the firm’s accounts and relationships. This position is required to maintain a high degree of confidentiality with respect to client and company information.Qualifications/Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree and/or 2+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting preferred• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment• Strong written and oral communication skills• Proficient in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook• Highly organized and detail oriented, able to manage multiple demands and competing priorities• Ability to work with a variety of personalities in a team environment• Ability and desire to take on additional responsibilities to support career progressionDuties:• Assist in the trading for fixed income and equity portfolios, including:o Build orders for individual accounts and block tradingo Maintain and update portfolio models within our portfolio accounting systemo Maintain and manage portfolio restrictionso Facilitate communication of trade order allocation details between custodians and executing brokers; research/resolve discrepancies to ensure timely trade settlement• Perform post-trade compliance checks to ensure accuracy of data and compliance with portfolio rules• Prepare trade analysis reports in support of business development efforts• Review and update security information within our portfolio accounting and trading systems• Maintain account-level details in portfolio accounting and CRM systems• Provide backup and cross training with other Operations staff• Adhere to all the firm’s Code of Ethics and Policies and Procedures, as well as its Team Agreement, which is a commitment to the following behaviors:o Curiosity (avoid becoming defensive and remaining open to learning)o Accountability (taking 100% responsibility (no more; no less) for results; no blaming)o Candor (engaging in courageous truth-telling to increase power and speed in decisions)o Awareness (tapping every emotional and intuitional resource for decisions)o Passion (discovering and allowing people to do what they do best)o Appreciation (expressing gratitude and fostering a culture of sincere cooperation)• Perform any other duties and special projects as necessary.What we offer:Competitive salary plus excellent benefits and perks including, but not limited to:•Medical, Dental and Vision•Company 401(k)and ESOP contribution•Generous sick, vacation, and maternity/parental leave•Paid holidays•Professional Development Opportunities•Tuition Reimbursement ($15,000 lifetime cap)•Discounted personal insurance including home, auto and recreational vehicles•Charitable gift-matching program•Davidson Day of Giving – Our tradition of positively impacting communities in which we live and work.
