Angove Partners are working with a leading MGA. They have been extremely successful over the past few years and they are looking to grow in their Political Violence Team.
What is the role?
As a Political Violence Underwriter, you will be responsible assessing and underwriting Political Violence and Terrorism related risks, leveraging your experience to meet the clients needs.
What will you be doing?
ā¢ Build and maintain a profitable book of business through marketing, effective underwriting decision-making, strong market-facing presence, and application of underwriting tools, systems, and expert resources
ā¢ Establish and maintain successful relationships with brokers to facilitate the marketing of products through great service and enhanced knowledge of the insurance landscape
ā¢ Providing support for renewals
What do you need to apply to this role?
ā¢ Two or more years experience in either a Political Violence or Property Underwriting role
ā¢ Ability to win new business
ā¢ Strong written and oral communication skills
ā¢ Highly focused, enthusiastic and creative thinker
ā¢ Ability to negotiate with advisors and clients
ā¢ Ability to be proactive and work independently in a dynamic environment
