Political Advisor
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced regional geopolitical contributors to partner with us in producing high-quality geopolitical analysis reports for European and North American financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, propose, and provide verified firsthand information on critical geopolitical developments, regional risks, regulatory shifts and emerging hotspots.
- Collaborate closely with our team to structure analysis, validate facts, and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of report content.
- Support the drafting of geopolitical narrative and scenario analysis based on your regional expertise and firsthand sources.
- Respond promptly to ad-hoc requests for quick briefings on breaking geopolitical events.
Requirements
- Deep, on-the-ground experience and strong local networks in major geopolitical regions (such as Europe, North America, Middle East, Asia-Pacific, Eurasia, etc.).
- Ability to deliver credible firsthand information, situational updates, and contextual insights on political dynamics, policy shifts, and regional tensions.
- Strong research, fact-checking, and information verification capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to explain complex political situations clearly and logically.
- High responsiveness, reliability, and ability to work under tight timelines.
- Background in international relations, political analysis, area studies, journalism, risk analysis, or related fields is preferred.
- No financial industry knowledge or financial modeling skills required.
