Podcast Host | Writer | Weekly Recap Host
Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Podcast Host, a weekly video "recap" host and Writer to join our media team. This role involves producing engaging audio content, managing the entire podcast production process, and creating compelling written material to complement each episode. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a flair for storytelling, and proficiency in various editing and production tools. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence public discourse through innovative content creation across multiple platforms.
Duties
• Host and produce engaging podcast episodes, including scripting, interviewing, and moderating discussions
• Manage all aspects of post-production editing using StreamYard or similar software
• We are looking for Podcasters/Writers for Sports, Entertainment, Politics, etc.
• The weekly recap host will record a video (typically on a Friday) that recaps the week that was in sports, entertainment, etc.
• Edit audio recordings for clarity, sound quality, and overall presentation
• Utilize social media management skills to promote episodes and grow audience reach
Skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
• Strong writing skills with experience in journalism or technical writing
• Proficiency in audio/video editing software such as StreamYard or similar software
• Experience in post-production editing, video production, and video editing techniques
• Knowledge of social media management platforms for content promotion and audience engagement
This role is ideal for passionate storytellers who thrive in multimedia environments and are eager to influence public conversation through innovative podcasting. This is an INTERNSHIP position to start, based on experience, we can discuss compensation.
Pay: From $50.00 per week
