PM/Scrum Master
Description:
Anivas Tech is seeking a PM/Scrum Master to support our government agency IT operations. We are looking for a skilled professional with 8+ years of relevant experience who brings strong technical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a mission-driven, high-visibility environment.
Requirements:
ā¢ Lead Agile/Scrum delivery teams, facilitating all ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
ā¢ Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and issues in alignment with government contract requirements
ā¢ Serve as a servant-leader for the delivery team, removing impediments and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
ā¢ Develop and maintain project artifacts including project plans, risk registers, status reports, and integrated master schedules
ā¢ Serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders on project delivery status, risks, and milestones
ā¢ Coordinate across multiple workstreams, vendors, and government counterparts to ensure alignment and on-time delivery
ā¢ Track and communicate team velocity, sprint metrics, and program-level key performance indicators
ā¢ Facilitate backlog refinement sessions and work with product owners to prioritize and groom the product backlog
ā¢ Ensure deliverables comply with contract requirements, quality standards, and government governance processes
ā¢ Mentor team members on Agile best practices and support organizational agile maturity growth
ā¢ US citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field; 5 additional years of relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree
ā¢ 8+ years of experience in project management and/or Agile delivery roles, with at least 3 years as a Scrum Master or Agile coach
ā¢ Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-workstream IT projects in dynamic environments
ā¢ Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
ā¢ Experience with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent)
ā¢ Proficiency in Agile frameworks including Scrum and Kanban
ā¢ Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines
ā¢ PMP certification (Project Management Professional)
ā¢ Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or PMI-ACP certification
ā¢ Experience in a federal government or DoD program environment
ā¢ Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) at the program or portfolio level
ā¢ Experience supporting government Agile transformation or DevSecOps programs
