About this position:
iWorks is seeking a Junior PMO Analyst to support a federal program. This role will focus on standardizing project delivery, improving governance, and supporting program alignment with st rategic ob jectives . The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working in a structured federal program environment.
This position plays a key role in ensuring consistency, compliance, and efficiency across multiple projects by supporting PMO frameworks, reporting, and coordination efforts.
Salary Range : - commensurate with the candidate's skills, experience, location, and qualifications.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

Support PMO governance by implementing standardized processes, templates, and documentation practices
Assist with project delivery coordination and day-to-day program management activities
Track project performance, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure alignment with program goals
Maintain project status reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates
Identify , track, and escalate risks and issues in accordance with established PMO processes
Support compliance with SLAs, AQLs, and federal program requirements (IT GEMS, JEHR HA)
Coordinate onboarding and training activities for new team members on PMO standards
Facilitate communication between PMO leadership and delivery teams
Assist in project prioritization, approval workflows, and governance activities
Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives aligned with PMO best practices

Required Education/Qualifications:

Active DoD Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Business , IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
1+ year of experience in project coordination, PMO support, or program analysis
Basic understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
Experience supporting project documentation, reporting, and tracking
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting federal or DoD programs
Familiarity with PMO tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar)
Exposure to governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks
Experience with resource planning and capacity management
Knowledge of IT GEMS program or similar enterprise IT environments
CAPM certification or progress toward PMP certification
