About the role

Join our Data Center team as Data Center PMO Leader

In this role, you will join a dynamic team & participate in the growth of data center vertical at Carrier.
This role drives operational excellence, sustainability, and customer satisfaction while embodying Carrier’s values: Respect, Integrity, Inclusion, Innovation, and Excellence.

Reporting to the Data Center PMO Leader, the Data Center PMO Leader, will be responsible for tracking key milestones and metrics of Data Center projects across Europe as well as drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will work directly with local teams to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible with ensuring the highest quality in the execution to achieve full satisfaction customer-wise. The role will be focused on Data Center projects including Chiller units, CRAH (Computer Room Air Handler), CDU (Cooling Distribution Units) but also equipment Commissioning phase.

Key Responsibilities
Collect and verify data/KPIs from local project teams.

Maintain on-going projects database over time.

Prepare extensive reports/dashboards to track all datas/KPIs for management visibility.

Liaise and close cooperation with sales, finance, factories and technical teams as needed.

Implement and promote best practices and process improvements (Sharepoint, project management tools, standardization, …) within project management in collaboration with Data Center PMO Leader and local project managers.

Report and escalate to management as needed.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Skills
Bachelor's/Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Project Management, Finance, Engineering or a related field.

3+ years of experience in project management, finance or engineering or related environment.

Experience with project management software tools and/or PowerBI is a plus.

Knowledge of HVAC systems and/or Data Center and/or constructions sites ecosystem would be a plus

Strong interpersonal/communication skills with strong written and verbal communication skills to build and maintain relationships across different countries, teams and level of the organization.

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

A commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to drive process enhancements.

Decision-making ability, proactivity & autonomy.

Ability to manage deadlines.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
