3 Month Contract With A Local AuthorityRole OverviewThis position offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to a varied caseload of planning and development matters. The successful candidate will provide high-quality legal advice on planning law issues and support decision-making processes.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal advice on all aspects of planning and environmental lawDraft and review planning agreements (including Section 106 agreements)Advise on planning applications, appeals, and enforcement mattersSupport officers and stakeholders with legal input on planning policy and decisionsAttend Planning Committee meetings where required (desirable, not essential)Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory frameworksRequirementsQualified solicitor, barrister, or legal executive in England & WalesDemonstrable experience in planning law (local authority experience desirable)Strong knowledge of UK planning legislation and proceduresAbility to manage workload independently in a remote environmentExcellent communication and drafting skillsAdditional Information37 Hours Per WeekRemote workingBi-Weekly Payments
