Planning and Admin Assistant K Marie Events K Marie Events is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Planning and Administrative Assistant to support our team during our assistants maternity leave and our busy wedding season. This role is primarily behind the scenes, with the opportunity to assist on-site at weddings throughout the summer. This is a temporary position from April through October, with potential opportunity for a longer-term role for the right candidate. Responsibilities Manage weekly task assignments from the owner across multiple clients Organize planning notes and maintain client files Conduct vendor research and outreach Track emails, follow-ups, and ongoing assignments Set up systems and onboarding for new clients Organize and track payments Assist in creating detailed production plans for wedding weekends Communicate wedding weekend logistics to assistant team members Review and check event rental orders Manage venue communications for two partner venues Support general administrative and planning tasks as needed Attend in-office meetings at least once per week Assist on 5 to 7 weddings throughout the summer season Qualifications Proven office or administrative experience Strong clerical skills and understanding of office management procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace Experience with Trello or other task management platforms Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to prioritize and manage tasks across multiple projects simultaneously Experience in weddings or events preferred Design experience is a bonus Strong written communication skills, proofreading ability, and professional email etiquette This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and enjoys both structured organization and the creative world of weddings. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour Work Location:
