PIP Attorney- Hybrid (174)
A Florida stablished Law firm is seeking an ambitious attorney in its Jacksonville office. The ideal candidate for the position must have a passion for insurance defense litigation.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Manage significant caseload from inception to post-trial.
ā¢ Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
ā¢ Prepare pleadings, discovery/discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents.
ā¢ Prepare timely reports to insurance carriers and clients regarding case status and ongoing activities.
ā¢ Develop clients via relationship building methods.
ā¢ Travel to various courthouses and other locations is expected.
ā¢ Meet monthly billing requirements of 175 hours per month.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Must be a Good Standing Member of the Florida Bar
ā¢ Excellent academic credentials required
ā¢ Must have knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
ā¢ Must be technologically confident, very comfortable using process management systems and effectively utilizes available technology and automation.
ā¢ Knowledge of Time Matters, Juris, and Acuity is a plus.
