Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - Wound Care

HSHS is recruiting a BC/BE Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Wound Care team in Wisconsin. This provider will spend two days per week at St. Vincent's Hospital in Green Bay, WI and two days per week at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, WI. Practice Highlights: - Well established Wound Care Clinic - No holidays or weekends - No required call - EPIC EMR - Clinics are within the hospitals, providing access to all imaging, labs, scans, etc. needed. - Ample training time provided with Wound Care team Position Requirements: - Unrestricted Wisconsin license prior to start - Board Certified - 2+ years of provider work experience is strongly preferred. • Experience in Wound Care is preferred, but experience in other specialties will also be considered. Compensation & Benefits Package: - Base guarantee - Paid time off with holidays accrued bi-weekly - Annual CME funds - Sign on bonus and relocation assistance both available Education Qualifications • Master’s degree in Nursing is required. • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. • Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred. Experience Qualifications • Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations • Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required. • Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or • Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. • Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred. • Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred. • Federal DEA license is preferred. • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
