Patient charting and follow-up completed in-clinic during your shift – no work taken home.
You Will:
Provide essential and family-centered care, including comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, treatments, medical management, health counseling, and behavioral health support.
Manage administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient development, insurance verification, and maintaining a clean environment.
Be responsible for coordinating patient appointments and conducting triage assessments to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
Perform duties including patient education on healthy lifestyle choices, performing demonstrations to assess and treat injuries or illnesses, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a cohesive care plan.
Encourage patients to be active participants in their healthcare and wellness through services like health screenings, social wellness, and chronic disease management.
Required Qualifications:
Provide comprehensive, evidence-based patient care, including accurate assessments, diagnoses, treatments, medical management, health counseling, and behavioral health support.
Administer vaccinations and injections (including COVID-19, flu, TB, and Depo) and provide evidence-based patient/parent education.
Minimum of two years of restorative relevant experience or equivalent.
Complete the Spot certification test within 30 days of hire.
Ability to communicate effectively in additional languages (e.g., Spanish) contingent upon market needs.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED proficiency.
Pass a FIT assessment and wear the provided respirator mask when required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior student precepting experience with MinuteClinic (within the past year).
Education:
Graduate-level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Accreditation and state licensure to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
Or, in select states, a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related graduate degree or comparable experience with a four-year science degree in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board certification and state licensure to practice in the role.
