Job Summary:
RWJBarnabas Health is actively seeking a licensed and motivated Physical Therapist to join our team in Newark, NJ. As a key part of our rehabilitation services, you’ll provide expert therapeutic care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, helping them regain strength and mobility.

Job Description:
As a Physical Therapist, you’ll assess patient conditions, develop and implement treatment plans, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. You’ll contribute to quality care delivery through evidence-based practices while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and hospital protocols.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current NJ Physical Therapy License or eligible for licensure
- BLS certification required
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience in an acute, subacute, or outpatient setting preferred

Responsibilities:
- Perform evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
- Deliver effective physical therapy interventions to restore function and mobility
- Monitor progress and modify treatment as needed
- Educate patients and families on at-home therapy and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other rehab professionals
- Participate in departmental meetings and continuing education
