Job description: Department: Physical Therapy Henry Ford Warren CampusPART Time - Day shift 8:00am-4:30pm with rotating weekends & holidaysAssociate would be work in the acute care hospital as well on the Inpatient Rehab Unit. There is a minimum weekend commitment of 2 shifts per schedule as well as hard to fill dates and a holiday commitment.GENERAL SUMMARYConducts medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a physical therapist.Responsibilities:
Provides physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
Performs therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.
Documents treatment interventions given.
May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.
EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: -
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy Asst credentialed from the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy required.
