Phone Scheduler (remote)
JOB SUMMARY
The scheduler will primarily schedules radiology imaging appointments, performs pre-resignation, receive/send faxes, scans documents, handles customer service-related requests, communicates preparations, handles call backs, coordinates legal records requests and perform various other clerical tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ā¢ Displays excellent communication skills and telephone etiquette.
ā¢ Answers incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner; follows scheduling protocols.
ā¢ Places calls to clients expressing difficulty with scheduling.
ā¢ Notifies payer if any problems scheduling their clients.
ā¢ Maintains good rapport with clients, administrative/clinical staff and payers.
ā¢ Schedules, reschedules or cancels new or task, confirms appointments and notifies staff of changes when necessary.
ā¢ Enters accurate information in the system for appointment scheduling, rescheduling, cancellation and commentUpdates account information at the point of scheduling.
ā¢ Communicates and interacts with all departments effectively and
ā¢ Pre-registers, submits reports and documents, inputs data as needed for appointment, and requests films CD's as
ā¢ Gives clients appropriate orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, and provides directions to facilities.
