Responsibilities
? Collect biological specimens from patients following established protocols.

? Enter and verify patient demographics and specimen information into the computer system accurately.

? Prepare samples for analytical testing and ensure timely delivery to the appropriate technical area.

? Maintain quality standards by ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with departmental procedures.

? Participate in departmental financial responsibilities by managing supplies and reducing waste.

? Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, resolving service issues as needed.
Requirements
? Minimum age requirement of 18.

? High School diploma or equivalent, depending on state regulations.

? Completion of a phlebotomy program or relevant phlebotomy experience.

? Basic knowledge of department resource materials.
,
? Ability to obtain DHS Fingerprinting Certification if required.

? Valid state driver's license and eligibility for company auto insurance coverage.
