If you are hardworking, dedicated and looking for a change in your career, we may have an opportunity for you!We are proud to offer:Competitive compensationComprehensive healthcare benefits401(k) retirement planPaid time offAn awesome work environmentOpportunities to advance and grow your careerAnd More!Triage Technician Duties and Responsibilities:Build and maintain relationships with nurses, physicians, and caregiversManage incoming phone calls and emailsDe-escalate and troubleshoot issues for customersUpdate consumer profiles and medication administration recordsProcess prescription refillsSubmit electronic insurance claims and work rejectionsWork with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and obtain refill approvalsRequired Skills/Abilities:Minimum one year experience in a retail or long-term care pharmacy; 3+ years preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize responsibilitiesPositive personality who easily builds rapport through the phone/emailAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environmentProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareExperience with FrameworkLTC and DocuTrack preferred but not requiredMust possess a valid Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician LicenseCurrent Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician LicenseUnderstands basic pharmacy language to interpret prescriptionsCan perform pharmacy calculationsPhysical Requirements:Must be able to withstand long hours of computer screen time and phone conversationsTarrytown is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
