The Pharmacy Technician at Molina Healthcare plays a crucial role in ensuring that members have access to necessary prescription drugs while adhering to cost-effective and safe practices. Responsibilities
Β Perform initial receipt and review of non-formulary or prior authorization requests against plan approved criteria.

Β Request additional information from providers as needed to properly evaluate requests.

Β Accurately enter online approvals or denials of requests.

Β Make and carry out simple prior authorization requests within established policies and procedures.

Β Participate in the development and administration of programs to enhance drug utilization and identify cost-saving practices.

Β Identify and report departmental operational issues and resource needs to management.

Β Assist Molina Member Services, pharmacies, and health plan providers in resolving prescription claim and pharmacy service access issues.

Β Articulate Pharmacy Management policies and procedures to pharmacy/health plan providers and other staff.
Requirements
Β High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Β 2 years' experience as a Pharmacy Technician
,
Β Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician Certification

Β 3+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
