We're seeking a highly motivated and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at PharMerica in Huntington, WV. As a non-retail pharmacy, we focus on providing exceptional customer service and meeting the pharmacy needs of hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, long-term acute care centers, and other specialized care centers nationwide.

Responsibilities:
Fills prescription items, packages medications for dispensing and delivery, and meets accuracy and productivity standards
Labels products, participates in periodic inventory, and checks in drugs and supplies
Prepares medications, including emulsions, liquids, powders, and ointments, and communicates with internal and external customers
Assists in training new employees and performs other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in a pharmacy setting and with medical terminology
Ability to operate a computer and recognize and identify medications
Detail-oriented, goal-oriented, team player with effective oral communication skills
Pharmacy Technician license required; national certification and previous pharmacy experience preferred
