Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient delivery of medications to patients.
Prepare and dispense medications accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain inventory levels and assist with medication ordering.
Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
Provide excellent customer service to patients and other healthcare professionals.
Communicate effectively with patients, team members, and other healthcare providers.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Utilize computer systems and software to accurately process prescriptions and patient information.
Assist with medication reconciliation and medication therapy management.
Continuously update and maintain knowledge of medications, dosages, and pharmaceutical care practices.
Identify and report any medication errors or potential safety issues.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the pharmacist or pharmacy manager.
