Location: San Antonio, TX /Hybrid (All training will be onsite)
Monday-Friday
Training: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm OR 9:00-5:30pm
NORMAL SHIFT: Monday-Thursday 11am - 7:30pm /Friday 9-5:30pm and Saturday-every 6 weeks.
Pay Rate: 18.90 per hour.
Start Date: 1/13/2025
Must live within 30 miles to San Antonio, TX.*
Pharmacy Technician-Data Entry
Required:
Completion of Pharmacy Tech training program.
6 months Pharmacy Experience.
High School Diploma/GED
This position is responsible for screening orders, research, accurately and efficiently reading, interpreting, and entering prescriptions into the computer system in a timely fashion, and/ or thinking through and solving escalated prescription issues.
Areas of focus for Pharmacy Technicians may entering patient and prescription information into our system, and faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes.
Technicians will direct questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification and enter incomplete prescription information once clarification has been obtained and complete appropriate described patient letter.
Through your skills and knowledge, you will offer solutions needed to help simplify the customer health care experience.
To help support development and maximize workflow, you will be asked to perform other pharmacy functions as required.
