Registered Pharmacy Technician-Order Entry Location: San Antonio, TX /Hybrid (All training will be onsite) Monday-Friday Training: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm OR 9:00-5:30pm NORMAL SHIFT: Monday-Thursday 11am - 7:30pm /Friday 9-5:30pm and Saturday-every 6 weeks. Pay Rate: 18.90 per hour. Start Date: 1/13/2025 Must live within 30 miles to San Antonio, TX.* Pharmacy Technician-Data Entry Required: Completion of Pharmacy Tech training program. 6 months Pharmacy Experience. High School Diploma/GED • This position is responsible for screening orders, research, accurately and efficiently reading, interpreting, and entering prescriptions into the computer system in a timely fashion, and/ or thinking through and solving escalated prescription issues. • Areas of focus for Pharmacy Technicians may entering patient and prescription information into our system, and faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes. • Technicians will direct questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification and enter incomplete prescription information once clarification has been obtained and complete appropriate described patient letter. • Through your skills and knowledge, you will offer solutions needed to help simplify the customer health care experience. • To help support development and maximize workflow, you will be asked to perform other pharmacy functions as required.
