Key Responsibilities:
Process and route prescriptions to pharmacists for completion, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Communicate with doctors and insurance agencies to resolve issues and facilitate claims
Utilize excellent data entry skills to support team success and maintain high productivity levels
Provide exceptional customer care in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Pharmacy Technician certification in GA
National Pharmacy Technician Certification
Proven data entry experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications:
Specialty pharmacy experience
Claims processing experience, with ability to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and review claim issues
