Pharmacy Order Entry Technician - Remote

Green Tree Pharmacy is a long term care pharmacy located in Minonk, IL, which currently serves almost 100 long term care facilities. This remote position is responsible for filling prescription orders from nursing facilities under the supervision of a staff pharmacist.
Responsibilities:
ā¢ Create and update patient profiles
ā¢ Enter new prescriptions into the pharmacy management system with accuracy and efficiency under supervision of a pharmacist
ā¢ Process requests for refilled prescriptions
ā¢ Contact prescriber/nursing facility for clarification or refill authorization as directed by the pharmacist
ā¢ Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
ā¢ Illinois Licensed and Certified as a Pharmacy Technician preferred but not required
ā¢ Pharmacy background in data-entry and proficient typing skills are preferred, but will train for the right candidate
ā¢ Excellent communication skills
ā¢ Must be dependable and have reliable attendance
ā¢ Must work well in team environment
