Pharmacy Care Technician
Job Description:
• assist in accurately reading, interpreting and entering prescriptions into the computer system
• calculation of doses and assignment of directions
• accepting proper insurance payment in a timely fashion
• routing incomplete or unclear prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification
• assist with inbound phone calls
• interact with customers and cross functional team to answer questions
• solve problems, provide education, and maintain high-quality service
• new patient enrollment and verification of insurance coverage
• perform benefit investigations and processing of medication orders for both new and existing patients
Requirements:
• Must live within 75 miles of Orlando, Florida
• Six months experience in a pharmacy technician role
• Six months work experience with Windows-based applications like Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
• Six months computer keyboarding skills and aptitude
• Active Valid Pharmacy Technician License and/or Certification as required by the State of FL
• direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router within 7 feet of your computer
• minimum download speed of 25 mbs download and 3 mbs upload
• secure and private home workspace free from distractions
