Personal Lines Account Assistant - Summer Contract
HUB International is a premier insurance brokerage seeking a dynamic client-focused Account Assistant for their Personal Insurance Team. This role involves developing expertise in the EPIC Broker Management System, processing new business and remarket policies, and providing support to service and sales teams. Responsibilities Develop and maintain expertise of EPIC Broker Management System Deliver the highest standard of review and processing of New Business and Remarket policies within EPIC and Carrier partner systems Engage with team daily to drive productivity and troubleshoot for issue resolution Display strong written and verbal communication skills Work cohesively with team to achieve desired results with daily tasks and responsibilities while adhering to HUB Standards Display strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills Offer robust analytical, logical, and technical support to our service and sales teams Provide prompt and accurate solutions to daily queries, both internal and external Demonstrate high level of initiative to drive results and improvements Complete activity input and reconciliation for New Business and remarkets in a timely fashion Generate client communication and follow-up activity welcoming clients to HUB Back up service support division as required Training and mentorship of fellow team members Supportively assist, participate, and contribute to workflows, processes, and meetings Review, assignment and processing of various Download tasks daily Skills Experience in EPIC is an asset but not required Strong team player with the ability to work independently Great attitude, self-motivated and logical thinker that can work in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills Strong understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Strong verbal and written Communication skills Ability to exercise initiative and follow-up skills Interest in pursuing a career in Insurance Benefits Work-Life Balance: Take advantage of flexible working arrangements and generous time-off policies that adapt to your needs and lifestyle.
