About the position

The Personal Insurance Sales Executive is responsible for managing and developing a group of agency assignments within the Arkansas territory. This role focuses on optimizing growth potential by supporting independent agents, exceeding growth and profit objectives, and collaborating with team members on product and pricing decisions. The position is remote and does not involve managing others, allowing for a flexible work environment.

Responsibilities
• Manage and develop a mid and/or moderately complex group of agency assignments.
,
• Optimize growth potential of a core group of Travelers independent agents.
,
• Prospect and appoint new agencies to exceed year-over-year growth and profit objectives.
,
• Collaborate with team members on product, pricing, and agency management decisions.
,
• Provide substantial support for agency assignments and lead presentations for owned agents.
,
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell Travelers products and share information with agents.
,
• Complete strategic marketing plans for territory to identify opportunities and challenges.
,
• Diagnose agencies' interests and motivate agents to succeed.
,
• Coordinate with trainers to ensure agency staff are fully trained on products and services.

Requirements
• A minimum of three years of professional and influential work experience required.
,
• Intermediate knowledge of Agency Diagnostics and ability to assess agency operations.
,
• Advanced ability to influence sales and convince agents to promote Travelers products.
,
• Advanced relationship management and communication skills.
,
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves
• Five years of sales experience or insurance industry experience preferred.
,
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
