Perl Developer (Apple Pay eCommerce Experience) - Contract (Fully Remote)

Prior experience with web-based software as well as cloud-based architecture is a plus. Candidates with strong coding principles will get top consideration. This will be an fully remote contract opportunity.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, related field, or significant related industry experience
• 7+ years of application development experience in Perl
• Hands-on technical experience with Apple Pay
• Demonstrate solutions by developing code, documentation, and test plans
• Experience with a variety of web frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Bootstrap, Angular, React, etc.)
• A strong command of SQL and database technologies
• Excellent understanding of software design, architecture, and programming principles
• Be a persistent, creative problem solver
• Self-starter with strong self-management and decision-making skills
• A solid sense of ownership and teamwork
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills:
• eCommerce development experience implementing large scale web services
• Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience working with various programming languages
• Exposure to Elastic Search or similar platforms is a plus
• Prior experience working in an agile/lean environment
