People Operations Specialist

About the position We're looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented and resourceful HR Operations expert to join the team! Reporting to the Senior Manager, HR Operations & Experience, you will be responsible for supporting all stages of the employee lifecycle by helping internal HR processes be efficient and successful, and keeping internal data in order. The ideal candidate will be an independent, detail-oriented, creative thinker who can work with internal and external stakeholders to drive best practices. This role will require flexibility and the ability to collaborate across teams and geographical areas, as well as a customer service approach to employee needs. Responsibilities • First point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, programs, etc. • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, collaborating with multiple teams to ensure a smooth transition for joiners and leavers • Assist with the implementation and management of all HR policies and procedures across the organization • Collaborate across multiple teams including, Finance, HRBPs, IT, Legal, etc. to implement programs and initiatives that are inclusive and drive positive employee experience • Drive HR process improvement by gaining an understanding of current processes, evaluating their effectiveness, and making recommendations to improve efficiency and scalability • Partner with EOR providers to ensure smooth and compliant HR operations, manage employment contracts and amendments, lead end-to-end onboarding for new hires, serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, maintain up-to-date knowledge of benefits and policies across sites, and support ongoing HR projects and initiatives as needed. • Will partner with the experience team on company events Requirements • 2+ years of experience in an HR operations role in a global organization • Previous experience working with a PEO • Experience with US benefits and leave processes • Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time and multiple projects simultaneously • HRIS experience • Knowledge of leave of absence administration processes and US state/federal legislation • Demonstrated analytical and data management skills along with superior attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Nice-to-haves • Experience with US Payroll a plus Benefits • Our NYC team is currently working in a hybrid of remote and in-office for all our team members • Fully-covered medical, dental, and vision insurance from your first day • Equity for all employees, 401(k) + matching, commuter benefits • Catered lunch, fully-stocked kitchen, team events, happy hours, birthday celebrations • Yoga, pilates, soccer league, wellness classes • Wide-ranging opportunities to volunteer and make an impact in local communities • Commitment to your professional development with global onboarding, sales bootcamp, skills-based courses, full access to Udemy, lunch & learns • Awesome Riskified gifts and swag!
