About this roleWe’re looking for a dedicated and self-motivated People Ops Generalist to join our People team in our NYC office. We're building a world-class organization and are looking for a highly personable, highly organized person who can collaborate across teams and stakeholders. You are keen on creating a quality candidate-to-employee experience and managing all aspects of People Operations functions. You love taking initiative and coming up with new ways to ensure the health and growth of employees. As a key member of our People team, you’ll be instrumental in helping us build processes and programs that scale with company growth. ‍♀️ Your responsibilitiesLead and own our in-person new-hire onboarding sessions in NYC office hub (every 2 weeks)Participate in the planning, coordination, and execution of People team initiatives including company events, employee experience projects, and various other enablement initiativesAssist people team with end-to-end delivery of People Operations, such as on-boarding/off-boarding, managing our People team ticketing system, visa-related requests, payroll, time off requests, employment verifications and leave managementLead the team through audits and regularly update our employee handbook, processes, and programs to maintain compliance and industry standards Design new & efficient workflows between cross-functional teams and key stakeholders (Recruiting, Finance, Legal, IT, and Compliance)Collaborate with employees and legal teams/government agencies to ensure case processing for immigration visas and global mobilityHandle confidential employee relations matters with discretion and professionalismSupport the rollout of organizational changes or new systems, ensuring smooth transitions for employees⭐️ Is this you?3+ years in a Human Resources / People Operations role, preferable at a high-growth tech companySHRM / PHR certification a plus Experience building, maintaining, and presenting HR data analyticsExcellent problem solving skillsHigh emotional and social intelligence with experience fostering positive, strong relationships with diverse groups of peopleExcellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalismHighly organized and detail-oriented; you can handle multiple projects and dynamic priorities without missing a beatPassionate about people and how they function together to create a valuable organizationAnd:Proactive communication skills, both sync and asyncIntrinsically motivated: you set the highest possible bar for what you build, write, shipIncredibly curious and an active listenerA great presenterA genuine leaderA natural affinity to our values of Connect, challenge, own Benefits & perks (US Full-time employees)Generous PTO, plus company holidaysMedical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your familyPaid parental leave for all parents (12 weeks)Fertility and family planning supportEarly-detection cancer testing through GalleriFlexible spending account and dependent FSA optionsHealth savings account for eligible plans with company contributionAnnual work-life stipends for:Home office setup, cell phone, internetWellness stipend for gym, massage/chiropractor, personal training, etc.Learning and development stipendCompany-wide off-sites and team off-sitesCompetitive compensation, company stock options and 401kWriter is an equal-opportunity employer and is committed to diversity.
