THERAPY 2000 , a home-based provider of pediatric Speech , Occupational , and Physical Therapy services, has an exciting opportunity for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapist Assistant to serve families in the Friendswood/League City area of Houston, TX. This full-time, part-time, or PRN position is based in our South Houston division and includes an Active Caseload and a Sign on Bonus. What youâll do: -Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patientsâ needs for therapy. -Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physiciansâ orders. -Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patientsâ caregivers. -Act as a vital member of your patientsâ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines. -Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency. -Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed. -Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care. -Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures. -Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric occupational therapy.
