Pediatric Clinical Psychologist – Join a Mission-Driven Team Advancing Gut-Brain Health

Remote Full-time
ABOUT US

GI Psychology is a passionate team of telehealth clinicians delivering evidence-based, outcomes-driven psychotherapy for individuals navigating gastrointestinal disorders and other complex medical conditions.

We’re not just providing access—we’re raising the bar for what quality pediatric gastro psych care looks like, with measurable results, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a strong culture of training, innovation, and shared success.

Our mission is to expand national access to effective gut-brain therapies. We want to help children and families live their lives—one evidence-based session at a time.

THE ROLE

We are hiring a Clinical Psychologist specializing in pediatric care to work with children and their families navigating gastro disorders. This is a clinically rich role for someone who is energized by providing evidence-based interventions like CBT, ACT, and clinical hypnosis, and who enjoys tailoring care to developmental stages, family systems, and medical complexity.

You’ll spend approximately 22 hours per week in direct clinical work, with the remaining time dedicated to consultation, training, teaching, and outreach. This balance allows you to stay rooted in the meaningful work of therapy, while contributing to broader systems of care.

Ideal for someone who:
• Feels rejuvenated by meaningful clinical sessions with kids and families
• Enjoys the challenge of complex and evolving clinical presentations
• Thrives on adapting evidence-based models to suit developmental needs
• Values team collaboration and shared clinical wisdom
• Wants to contribute to provider education and public awareness
• Finds fulfillment in a high-integrity, feedback-rich, and growth-focused culture

THE OPPORTUNITY
• 35-hour workweek (approx. 22 clinical, 18 training/outreach hours)
• Opportunity for promotions to the GIP Outreach Team
• APA Approved “GIP University” for advanced clinical training
• Individual and group supervision with pediatric & GI experts
• Opportunities to teach, consult, and create psychoeducational content
• Access to streamlined systems and admin support
• Compensation range: $75,000–$120,000/year, based on licensure, schedule, and experience
• Paths to leadership and specialization

WHO YOU ARE

You are a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSYPACT welcome) with:
• Motivation to do amazing work while benefiting from high quality work/life balance and a 35 hour work week.
• Several years of experience facilitating therapy with children, adolescents, and families
• Proficiency in CBT, ACT, parent training, and/or clinical hypnosis
• Interest in applying behavioral health strategies to GI, pain, and health-related concerns
• A desire to collaborate with pediatric GI providers, educators, and families
• A strengths-based mindset and deep respect for kids and caregivers
• A commitment to growth, innovation, and shared excellence

OUR CULTURE & VALUES

At GI Psychology, we’re united by three core values that guide everything we do:
• Integrity – An internal drive that reliably creates excellence
• Innovation – Growth-oriented, adaptive, and always improving
• Interpersonal Generosity – We elevate others and prioritize collective success with healthy boundaries

NEXT STEPS

We are not a siloed telehealth model—we are a highly collaborative team that believes when we grow together, we deliver better care. Expect regular, meaningful connection with teammates, leadership, and external partners.
