P&C Insurance Sales Executive

We believe traditional commercial insurance can be distributed faster and cheaper. To do that, we’ve brought the entire insurance value chain—distribution, underwriting, and reinsurance—under one roof to drive innovation in an industry that’s ripe for change.We are on the hunt for P&C Insurance Sales Executives to join our team to help build out a new line of business in 2025. SafeLease is launching a property and casualty product that has been built from the ground up and tailored for self-storage. There are over 50,000 self-storage facilities in the United States and skyrocketing insurance premiums have become a major pain point in the industry. SafeLease’s new P&C product aims to help facility owners solve that pain with the most customizable product available. About The RoleWe have big aspirations for this business segment and are looking for entrepreneurial team members who share the same level of ambition.To drive our mission forward, this role will:Cultivate connections: Build and maintain relationships with self-storage property owners and key stakeholders nationwideDrive sales: Quote and secure both new and renewal property and casualty insurance policiesCustomize solutions: Tailor policy coverages and deductibles to meet each customer’s specific needsCollaborate effectively: Work with underwriters to provide all required information promptly and accuratelyEnhance customer experience: Collaborate with other SafeLease teams to deliver seamless and positive buying experiencesProvide support: Address inquiries about coverages, premiums, endorsements, accounting, or claims as neededEngage in industry: Attend industry events, with occasional travel as requiredAbout You5+ years selling property and casualty insurance, license in good standingTop tier networker - Someone who enjoys building relationships with executives and has a proven ability to maintain a large book of relationshipsExcellent written and communication and professional presentation skills Technical insurance knowledge - demonstrate high degree of knowledge of insurance coverage forms and policiesMotivated to help build out and establish a new line of business within a fast growing insurance startupExperience with non-admitted/surplus lines policies a plusSelf-storage industry or general commercial real estate experience a plusWhy SafeLease?The tech: Our prospects convert fast because we’re solving real problems and delivering serious value to commercial real estate owners.The team: We’re a team of seasoned pros and sharp operators who know how to move fast and build smart.
