We are in search of a meticulous and experienced Payroll Manager to become part of our team, offering the flexibility of a hybrid or fully remote work setup. The Payroll Manager will collaborate closely with the HR director to ensure smooth payroll operations and compliance with all relevant regulations. As the Payroll Manager, you will efficiently oversee and execute bi-weekly payroll for all staff, including salaried, hourly, and tipped employees across various restaurant locations. You will guarantee payroll adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, encompassing tax submissions, wage and hour laws, and employee deductions. Additionally, you will create and assess payroll reports for precision and present them to management, ensuring transparency and compliance with financial policies. In this role, you will partner with HR to administer and reconcile employee benefits deductions, ensuring precise processing and reporting. You will act as the main contact for payroll inquiries, delivering prompt and effective solutions to any payroll-related concerns. Managing the payroll software will also be a key responsibility, ensuring it remains current and fulfills the company's requirements while suggesting enhancements as needed. Regular evaluations of payroll processes and records will be conducted to uphold accuracy and compliance, and you will identify areas for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations.

Responsibilities

Requirements
• Minimum of 3-5 years in payroll management, ideally within the hospitality or restaurant sector.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent experience.

• Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paycom) and strong skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Comprehensive understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tip reporting and tax laws.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of conveying complex payroll information to employees and management clearly.

• Strong analytical capabilities and a careful approach to managing sensitive financial data.

• Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment, demonstrating effective time management and organizational skills.
