Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end payroll process for all Ohio County Public Schools employees ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. Collaborate with Human Resources to verify employee information such as new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status. Process payroll deductions, garnishments, benefits, tax deductions, and other adjustments accurately. Prepare and submit required payroll reports and tax filings in a timely manner. Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or employee inquiries promptly and professionally. Coordinate and support internal and external audits related to payroll and employee compensation. Continuously evaluate payroll processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
