Payroll & HR Administrative Assistant

They are seeking a Payroll and HR Administrative Assistant to provide essential support to the Payroll and HR teams, assisting with payroll duties, leave tracking, and employee relations inquiries.ResponsibilitiesAssist with bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timelinessAssist with the verification of timesheets, hours worked, overtime, paid time off, and other pay-related dataAssist with terminations and status changes as neededSubmit payroll adjustments, bonuses, commissions, and special payments as directed to parent company payroll departmentRespond to team member payroll inquiriesAct as a backup for payroll processing when payroll specialist is unavailable and verify payroll sheets are correct on a bi-weekly basisMaintain payroll records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive informationSupport the tracking for team member leaves including FMLA, medical leave, personal leave, and other approved absencesMonitor leave dates with parent company benefits departmentUpdate payroll and HRIS systems with leave information as directedCommunicate leave information and polices to team members as neededMaintain confidential records of employee relations issues and investigationsTrack team member complaints, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plansDocument meetings, discussions, and resolutions related to employee relations mattersAssist with scheduling and coordination of employee relations meetingsSupport HR team in gathering information and documentation for employee relations casesSupport reporting for various Human Resources needs, such as turnover, headcount, etcAssist in answering general People Services questions to team members across the organizationWork collaboratively across the People Services team as neededSupport general administrative duties for HR and Payroll functionsOther duties as assignedSkillsAssociate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent work experience)Minimum 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing and HR administrative supportExperience with multi-state payroll (multi-system time keeping preferred)Knowledge of HRIS systemsExperience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelExperience tracking leaves of absence and employee relations mattersBenefitsExcellent benefits package including Medical, Dental, & Vision InsuranceFlex Spending Accounts401k/ROTH IRA with employer matchCompany-Sponsored Group Life Insurance, AD&D and Long-Term DisabilityProfessional Development ReimbursementAccrued Paid Time Off, up to 120 hours in the first year7 Company Paid Holidays + 2 Floating Holidays of your choiceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) and Annual Calm.com subscriptionWork/Life BalanceOpportunities for professional development and specialized trainingMentorship programsDEI=B Focus GroupsCompany OverviewARC Physical Therapy+ provides physical and occupational therapy to treat the symptoms and the causes of health problems.
