About the location:

An iconic hideaway on the glamorous Athens riviera, reborn. On the sophisticated Athens Riviera, at the tip of a pine-clad peninsula, Four Seasons offers the best of both worlds: a laid-back seaside escape just 30 minutes from the historical city centre. Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.

About the role

The Payroll Coordinator/Specialist will be responsible for processing and managing the hotel's payroll operations efficiently and accurately. This role will ensure all employees are compensated correctly and on time, adhering to local, state, and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

What you will do
? Prepare and process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll for all hotel employees, including salaried, hourly, and tipped staff.
? Review and verify timekeeping records, attendance, and paid time off requests to ensure accurate payroll calculations.
? Ensure payroll compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including federal, state, and local tax laws, and maintain knowledge of current payroll and tax regulations.
? Generate payroll reports, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and contributions for internal and external audits, management review, and compliance purposes.
? Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and payroll policies in a timely and professional manner.
? Maintain accurate and organized payroll records, including electronic and paper files, ensuring all employee information is up-to-date and secure.

What you bring
? Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
? Knowledge of labor laws and payroll regulations, including social security contributions, taxes, and employee protection laws.
? Familiarity with payroll systems and software (e.g., Scan Hrms, Self Service Epsilon Net).
? 1-2 years of experience in payroll or a similar accounting role.
? Ability to work with deadlines and manage a heavy workload.
? Accuracy and attention to detail.
? Microsoft Office high proficiency.
