Job Description Payment Processing Clerk- Data Entry Recruiting Now! Conduent Business Service- Glen Burnie, MD Schedule Sunday- Thursday, 6:00PM- 2:30AM or until completion. FT! Payrate $18/hr. + 10% shift differential + OT+ Benefits! About the role: The employee is required to support the Lockbox department by performing effective, timely, and accurate numeric input of check amounts, payee validation, data entry, and MICR correction while following specific instructions in the Lockbox customer’s profile. Responsibilities (Essential Duties): • Perform data-entry functions from checks image per client instructions. • Process credit cards payments, pulls rejects, pulls NCI’s, exceptions work and back up for other roles. • Ensure accuracy and productivity standards are met, in accordance with client service level agreements and department goals • Cross-train and provide support in other areas of the department as needed • Work in a team environment, ensuring work is processed according to individual Client instructions and deadlines. • Must work at least one day on the weekend Requirements • Lockbox experience and/or Opex 50, 150 or Falcon. • Excellent 10-key data-entry skills (both alpha, numeric, and combined) • Accuracy, time-management, self-motivation skills, and the ability to function independently • Logical decision-making rationale • Ability to work under limited supervision • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) • Strong sense of urgency and efficiency • Must be able to work in a confidential environment. • Basic PC skills (production program is trained internally) Working Environment • On Site (no remote option) • Fast-paced production environment • Must meet the physical demands of the job: will require repetitive use of hands, some bending, lifting, twisting, turning, and standing for long periods of time • Exposure to moderate noise levels Closing Conduent is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, gender identity, gender expression, sex/gender, marital status, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, medical condition, use of a guide dog or service animal, military/veteran status, citizenship status, basis of genetic information, or any other group protected by law.
