As a Patient Care Supervisor - Non-RN you will give mentorship and intentional leadership in leading the day-to-day clinical operations at the clinic. This is a supervisory position and reports directly to the Clinic Director. The Virtual Care Team provides consistent, reliable, and seamless support to a wide variety of specialties & subspecialty clinics. Our goal is to improve patient, provider and staff experience while improving access, filling open appointment slots and decreasing the number of visits canceled or converted to telephone due to support issues. The Virtual Care Team plays an important role in many areas of a patient's appointment, including check-in, registration, rooming and the technology check for the patient. Patient Care Supervisor - Non RN Overview Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Works alongside clinic staff to provide outstanding customer service and patient care • Provides daily workflow direction to accommodate clinic efficiency and meet site objectives • Partners with clinic leadership in making hiring, performance management, pay, and overall staffing decisions • Leads and/or participates in project/team improvement initiatives • Coordinates training of staff upon hire and provides ongoing development and mentorship • Ensures that staff training aligns with OSHA, Joint Commission and other regulatory bodies/requirements • Assists with the development and implementation of required training, as well as administering of policies, procedures, and standard processes Minimum Qualifications: • BLS Certification • High school diploma with some post-secondary education or technical healthcare training • Demonstrated process improvement experience • 3-5 years of clinical experience in an ambulatory or inpatient care setting, and a minimum of two years of supervisory or leadership experience in a clinical setting • Shown mentor, team-building, and performance leadership skills Location: Remote after onsite training program - ONLY considering MN applications at this time Hours: 1.0 FTE Benefits: This is a fully benefit eligible position: Competitive wages, Healthcare (including vision & dental), 401K, parking & tuition assistance and more!
