Patient Care Specialist - Bilingual English/Spanish (REMOTE)

Patient Care Specialist (FULLY REMOTE) This position will involve answering inbound calls for large hospital networks during our daytime, evening, and weekend shifts in a remote call center setting. Our company provides telephone answering, messaging, and alert services to physicians and medical facilities across the United States. ALL SHIFTS ARE IN EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST) Shift Availability Requirements Full-Time (appr. 30+ hours per week) • Weekdays (Mon-Fri) 8a-5p or 9a-6p, EST, typical 9 hour shifts, 5 shifts per week Requirements Candidates must: • Be fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) • Have a pleasant speaking voice and professional mannerisms • Demonstrate good computer skills and reliable internet • Work well in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of calls • Have medical terminology knowledge and experience, either hands-on or clerical • Be familiar with EMR systems and medical office practices (preferred) • Type a minimum of 30 wpm (will be tested) Candidates must also have the following: Internet - Ethernet connection (hardwire internet) required • Ping 50 mbps • Upload > 10 mbps STATLINX will provide equipment. Responsibilities • Manage call volume of inbound calls in a timely and professional manner (in both English and Spanish) • Follow communication prompts • Identify callers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions and/or alternatives • Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by going the extra mile • Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way • Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets Skills • Previous experience in a customer support role • Track record of over-achieving quota • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively Entry Level: $17.50/hr (with advancement opportunities) AND a monthly bonus program where you are eligible for up to 15%!
