Position: Full-time Patient Access Representative

Core Functions:
Serve as a Patient Advocate and Service Ambassador, providing proactive attention to internal and external customers
Perform on-site patient access registration related functions, ensuring patient safety, quality, and reimbursement
Comply with established UHealth policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal regulations
Collect patient financial responsibility, including co-pays, deductibles, and self-pay discounts
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, using excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-resolution skills
Requirements:
High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
1+ year of customer service experience; experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual skills a plus
Ability to work with multiple electronic systems, including UChart, Cadence/Prelude/Enterprise Billing, and more
