Patient Access Rep- Pharmacy

Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience for all individuals visiting the pharmacy department.
Accurately and efficiently collect patient information and verify insurance coverage to ensure timely and accurate processing of prescriptions.
Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to obtain necessary information and ensure proper billing.
Utilize electronic medical records and other systems to accurately document patient information and medication history.
Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and other important information.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient patient care process.
Resolve any patient concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Stay updated on industry changes and regulations related to patient access and insurance coverage.
Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills.
Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Maintain accurate and organized records of patient interactions and transactions.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by actively participating in team meetings and initiatives.
Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and promoting patient satisfaction.
Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the patient experience.
Perform other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager or supervisor.
