Schedule: PRN Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 1055 SAXON BLVD City: ORANGE CITY State: Florida Postal Code: 32763 Job Description: Performs accurate transcription of recorded medical dictation into designated report format to support pathologists, pathologists’ assistants, and selected laboratory departments. Manages inventory control, general equipment and space maintenance, and receptionist/clerical tasks including word processing, filing, distribution of interoffice memos, mail, scanning, and faxing. Supports cross-departmental partnerships and communication among pathologists, pathologists’ assistants, hospital staff, and clients, addressing and reporting any mistakes or errors to the department manager. Provides resolution to customer service issues within established guidelines. Attends and participates in scheduled department and committee meetings as assigned.
