The Pathology Transcriptionist I role at AdventHealth Orlando involves performing transcription activities to support pathologists and the pathology department. Responsibilities
Perform accurate transcription of recorded medical dictation into designated report format.

Assist with inventory control and general equipment maintenance.

Handle receptionist and clerical tasks including typing, filing, and distribution of interoffice memos.

Support communication among pathologists, assistants, and hospital staff.

Resolve customer service issues within established guidelines.

Attend and participate in scheduled department and committee meetings.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Completion of medical transcription program with certificate eligibility or one year of experience in medical dictation transcription.

Medical terminology training.

High school diploma or GED.
