Why This Role Matters
In today’s fast‑moving automotive marketplace, the first impression a potential buyer receives online can be the difference between a lead that converts and one that disappears. As a Part‑Time Online Chat Specialist at careerzynith, you will be the digital front‑line, representing our dealer clients with professionalism, enthusiasm, and product expertise. Your conversations will guide prospects through vehicle information, financing options, service appointments, and more—transforming casual browsers into actionable leads that drive revenue for our partners.

Key Responsibilities

Engage inbound website visitors via live chat, delivering prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to inquiries about automotive and RV sales, service, financing, and general dealership information.
Identify customer intent, qualify leads, and capture essential contact details for follow‑up by the sales and service teams.
Schedule service appointments, test drives, and sales consultations, ensuring a seamless handoff to the appropriate dealership representative.
Maintain and continuously update a comprehensive knowledge base of ever‑evolving vehicle models, features, promotions, and financing programs.
Summarize each chat interaction in a clear, concise format for client review, highlighting customer needs, pain points, and next‑step recommendations.
Collaborate with the careerzynith support team to troubleshoot technical issues, share best practices, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Participate in a four‑week intensive training program (Tuesday‑Saturday, 10:00 am‑6:30 pm CST) to master careerzynith’s chat platform, product catalog, and lead‑generation methodology.
Commit to daily 5‑hour work blocks after training, aligning with peak traffic periods to maximize lead capture and customer satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to type at least 35 words per minute; a speed of 40 WPM or higher is preferred.
Strong written communication skills with an emphasis on clarity, grammar, and a friendly tone.
Basic proficiency with internet browsers, Windows‑based operating systems, and common office software.
Positive, professional demeanor that reflects careerzynith’s brand values and the expectations of our dealer clients.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, adapt quickly to new information, and manage multiple chat sessions simultaneously.
Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for the on‑site portion of the role (the College Station office).

Preferred Experience & Skills

Prior experience in retail customer service, automotive sales, or dealership support—though not mandatory, it provides a valuable foundation.
Familiarity with gaming platforms or a background in online multiplayer environments, which often cultivates rapid multitasking and quick decision‑making abilities.
Experience using CRM or lead‑management tools, enabling smoother data entry and follow‑up processes.
Strong problem‑solving skills, allowing you to address unexpected questions or technical hiccups without hesitation.
Team‑oriented mindset, eager to share insights and learn from peers during training and ongoing coaching sessions.

Core Competencies for Success

Customer‑Centric Communication: Ability to listen actively, ask probing questions, and tailor responses to each prospect’s unique situation.
Technical Agility: Comfort navigating multiple software windows, toggling between chat, knowledge bases, and scheduling tools.
Attention to Detail: Accurate capture of contact information, appointment times, and vehicle preferences to ensure flawless handoffs.
