As a Part‑Time Data Entry Clerk, you will be a critical member of our administrative team, ensuring that financial records, inventory logs, and employee files are entered, filed, and maintained with precision. Your work will directly support the smooth operation of our landscaping projects, from design through installation, helping careerzynith stay ahead of the competition.

Assist the finance and procurement teams by generating routine reports, reconciling data discrepancies, and flagging potential issues for review.
Operate office equipment—including scanners, printers, and fax machines—efficiently and responsibly.
Support ad‑hoc administrative projects, such as data clean‑up initiatives, process documentation, and system migrations, as assigned by supervisors.
Work independently to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity within a flexible schedule of 16‑25 hours per week.

Essential Qualifications

Proven ability to type at least 50 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong proofreading skills and an eye for detail to catch errors before they become costly.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) or comparable productivity software.
Basic familiarity with office equipment (scanners, multi‑function printers, fax machines) and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
Understanding of standard clerical procedures, including record‑keeping, filing, and document management.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, identify problems, and propose practical solutions.
Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

Previous experience in a data entry or administrative role within the landscaping, construction, or related service industries.
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Experience handling confidential information and adhering to data privacy best practices.
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—to interact effectively with team members, vendors, and customers.
Basic knowledge of inventory management principles and the ability to track equipment usage and maintenance schedules.
Commitment to continuous learning, such as pursuing certifications in office administration or data management.
