Just Right Reader is a forward-thinking curriculum provider committed to advancing literacy for students from Birth through 12th Grade. Our comprehensive resources are designed to support all learners, including upper-grade students requiring additional intervention to develop foundational skills. The Role: Partnerships Director

At Just Right Reader, we create decodable books that are engaging, effective and enjoyable. We're hiring educators who have significant experience at the administration level of a school or school district to serve as a sales representative in our Partnership Director role.
As a Partnerships Director, you'll work directly with district and school leaders to understand their needs and bring solutions that help students learn to read. You will also play a major role in growing our presence across your region by developing relationships, attending regional events, and converting those relationships into long-term, revenue generating partnerships.
THIS ROLE REQUIRES TRAVEL WITHIN THE DESIGNATED REGION
What You'll Do:
Own the full sales cycle from first conversation through signed agreement
Build strong, trusted relationships with school and district leaders
Actively generate new opportunities by identifying leads, making outreach, and developing a robust pipeline
Deeply understand local literacy priorities, funding sources, and district goals to position Just Right Reader as the right solution
Represent Just Right Reader at regional conferences, events, and meetings with decision-makers
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff and successful long-term implementation
Consistently meet or exceed your sales goals for district growth and product adoption
What You Bring:
At least 3 years of experience as a school or district leader (such as principal, assistant principal, superintendent or assistant superintendent)
Strong understanding of foundational literacy and the science of reading
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment and contribute to a collaborative team
Comfort with storytelling, strategy, and working with data to guide decisions
A natural drive to sell - this can mean you've closed deals in education, pitched programs to your district, or even worked retail in college. You're energized by the challenge of getting to "yes" and aren't afraid to own a sales quota
