As a Partner Solutions Engineer, you are the bridge between Cloudera’s cutting-edge technology and our global partner ecosystem.
You will act as a Cloudera Evangelist and trusted advisor, ensuring our partners—ranging from educational institutions to government agencies—can maximize the value of the Cloudera Data Platform (CDP). Your goal is to drive partnership proficiency, solve complex technical hurdles, and move agreements forward with strategic precision.

As a Partner Solutions Engineer you will:
Be a Trusted Advisor: Help partners determine the best CDP fit for their needs and highlight unique differentiators through whiteboarding, demos, and RFI responses.

Drive Integrations: Work directly with CDP products to demonstrate and prototype Proof of Concepts (PoC) within partner environments.

Architect Solutions: Recommend integration strategies and enterprise architectures required to implement complete, scalable solutions.

Enable the Ecosystem: Lead the partnership program by teaching and enabling regional partners, ensuring they achieve technical proficiency.

Liaise with Engineering: Collaborate with Product Marketing and Engineering teams to stay ahead of industry trends and feed partner requirements back into the product roadmap.

Facilitate Growth: Partner with the sales team to problem-solve key technical issues and optimize the partner's "growth marketing" experience at scale.

We’re excited about you if you have:
Technical Architecture Expertise: Deep experience with Big Data, PaaS, and IaaS technologies, specifically architecting for scalable, distributed systems.

Data Ecosystem Knowledge: A strong foundation in Spark, Hive, and Impala, with an understanding of modern data principles like the separation of storage and compute.

Networking & Security Foundations: Knowledge of Linux and Web 2.0 technologies, including DNS, TCP, Firewalls, Load Balancing, VPNs, and VPCs.

GTM & Business Acumen: Experience managing joint business initiatives, such as co-sell programs and cloud marketplace integrations.

AI Literacy: Familiarity with Generative AI and traditional machine learning concepts from a pre-sales and value-proposition perspective.

Communication Excellence: The ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-makers.

Education & Mobility: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and the flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally.

You may also have:
Integration Specialist Skills: Direct experience with platform integrations across diverse partner software offerings.

Web Development Background: Experience in web application development or software development platforms.

Strategic Growth Mindset: The ability to analyze client needs through the lens of growth marketing and scalable acquisition.
