Key Responsibilities
Sell and Maintain Distribution: Ensure 100% distribution of authorized Hershey's items in your assigned territory, and maintain flawless retail execution of Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans.
Achieve Merchandising Objectives: Use Permanent Secondary Displays and other display vehicles to achieve merchandising objectives and drive sales growth.
Reporting and Administration: Report weekly activity, expenses, account changes, promotions, and administrative functions within your assigned territory.
Daily Activities: Use tablet technology to report daily activities, and submit reports upon completion of each day.
Territory Management: Manage your sales territory, which may vary in size, number of retailers, and location.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
Valid Driver's License: Hold a valid US state-issued driver's license.
Reliable Vehicle: Have a personal vehicle in sound operating condition.
Auto Insurance: Maintain personal auto insurance with minimum coverage of $100,000 per person / $100,000 per accident / $100,000 property damage, and permit business use.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Be able to drive long distances, lift 10-40 lbs., bend, kneel, stoop down, and demonstrate manual dexterity.
Tablet Technology: Be able to use tablet technology and have daily access to wireless internet.
Availability: Be available to work 20-25 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that overlaps core hours of 6:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Education: Hold a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Food Merchandising Experience: Have 3-4 years of experience in food merchandising (not required but preferred).
